At Atlantic Urgent Care we are laser-focused on saving our patients valuable time by providing speedy but highly professional medical service. Throughout the years of practice, we gained a strong reputation in the community. We enjoy the practice of medicine, with the goal of meeting and exceeding the expectations of our patients.
We diagnose and treat a wide range of ailments. from the common, quick, and easy to diagnose illnesses to the more complex conditions that require an advanced approach, including sending the patient for stat blood workup and or imaging studies. We can help patients avoid a trip to the ER. We essentially do the same workup as if the patient has gone to the ER. The time and money saving of this approach made our clinic the “place to go to” for moderate acuity, non-life threatening medical conditions.
Our providers are armed with solid experience in emergency medicine, which allows us to take this approach. We also know when a patient needs to go to the ER immediately and not waste valuable time in the outpatient workup. We screen sicker patients at the front desk before we even sign them in. Once we identify a more serious problem, we ask the patient to proceed to the ER immediately.
It is our delight, goal, and passion to provide our patients with the best medical care possible and to do everything we can for them. We go the extra mile for our patients. We are honored to take care of you as a patient and thank you for trusting us with your medical needs.

How does it work?
Many of these moderate acuity illnesses do not require hospitalization. We help our patients in many instances by initially utilizing the diagnostic tools available at our clinic to make the diagnosis and treat the patient. In some cases, we offer to send the patient to an outpatient Lab or imaging center for further workup if needed. We then make a final treatment plan once all test results are available. In some instances, we advised the patient to go to the hospital for admission.
Patients who appear very ill will be advised to go to the nearest ER. We do not work these patients up.
