At Elmira Urgent Care we treat a wide range of common mild illnesses and injuries. In addition to that we perform many procedures that will help patients avoid a visit to the ER. Our friendly staff is here for you. Our providers have the skills and expertise to take excellent care of you in a warm, personalized and friendly environment. Our goal is to do everything we can to help you when you need us. We have a beautiful state of the art clinic that makes you feel comfortable during your visit. 

We offer most procedures performed in the ER but are not life-threatening. We however will advice our patient to proceed to the ER if the condition or injury is beyond the scope and capabilities of our facility, such as the need for a surgeon or an orthopedic doctor. Please be assured we will do everything we can to provide you with high quality care. Your safety and well-being is our highest priority.

Commonly offered medications at our clinic

  • Nebulizer treatment : with Albuterol or DuoNeb (Ipratropium/Albuterol)for mild asthma attacks or COPD exacerbation
  •  Antibiotics IM injections: we administer Rocephin or Clindamycin for different infections 
  •  Steroid IM injections (Solumedrol, Dexamethasone) for various indications such as severe hives, COPD exacerbation, some musculoskeletal conditions.
  • TD booster
  •  Anti-inflammatory med IM (Toradol) for pain musculoskeletal pain, Migraines, Back pain , and other conditions

In addition to the IM injections we offer oral medications onsite for treatment during the visit such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, oral Prednisone, Aspirin, Zofran for nausea, clonidine for elevated blood pressure and more
